Options to finance an import include a conventional bank loan or overdraft, supplier credit where a trusted supplier allows partial payment after delivery, dedicated trade finance products offered by banks specifically for import and export transactions, and factoring or invoice financing once you are reselling to business customers on credit terms yourself. Trade finance products are often underused by small importers simply because they are unaware they exist; ask your bank directly what it offers importers, rather than assuming only large corporations qualify.
