Even simple tools meaningfully improve an import operation: a shared spreadsheet or lightweight software to track order status, payments and shipment milestones; a landed-cost calculator, built in Chapter 7, kept current and reused for every new quote; and a basic document management system so invoices, certificates and customs paperwork are easy to retrieve months or years later for an audit or a dispute. You do not need expensive enterprise software to run this well; consistency matters far more than sophistication.
