Cameroon Spotlight

Cameroon's trade gateways are the ports of Douala and Kribi (a deep-sea port), the Douala and Yaounde-Nsimalen airports, and land borders with neighbours including Chad, the Central African Republic, Nigeria, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Congo. Cameroon belongs to CEMAC (the Central African Economic and Monetary Community) and the CFA franc zone (XAF), which shapes tariffs and currency. Import formalities are grouped through the Single Window for Foreign Trade Operations (GUCE, Guichet Unique des Operations du Commerce Exterieur), which brings together customs, banks, the port authority and other agencies in one process.

TIP

Your country: find the main ports, airports and border posts of your country, and the agency that runs its trade single window, if any.
